PRAYER:

First and foremost, the SAC ministry needs your prayers!  To see our prayer needs click here to go to our list of Prayer Needs

BIBLES:

SAC can purchase Bibles in Russia so that we can bring them to the children when we visit the ministry sites.  If you would like to make a designated gift for Bibles please click here and designate your donation by writing BIBLES in the memo of your check.

HUMANITARIAN AID:

Strategic Angel Care has an ongoing collection of humanitarian aid items that we take to Russia and give to the orphans and hurting children in the shelters, hospital, orphanages, and transition homes.  These items include;

1. Large roller suitcases for transporting humanitarian aid to Russia
2. Lice hair treatment (so boys and girls hair won’t have to be shaven bald)
3. School backpacks
4. Pencils, #2
5. Ballpoint pens  (Russian schools require blue ink)
6. Color Markers  (6-8 count per pack)
7. Rulers, 12 inch (must have a metric side)
8. Erasers
9. Small Pencil Sharpeners
10. Colorful stickers
11. Small “hotel size” bar of soap
12. Small “hotel size” containers of shampoo
13. Small tubes of toothpaste (less than 3 oz)
14. Toothbrushes
15. Combs (less than 6 inches)
16. Small brushes
17. Colorful Band-aids
18. Slippers (rubber soled)
19. Small Stuffed Animals or “Bennie Babies” (no larger than 6”)
20. Non-prescription, non-liquid, Cold Medicine
21. Children’s vitamins.   

CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Children or Youth Ministries can always collect the items of Humanitarian Aid mentioned above. 
Many groups like to attach a small note of encouragement handwritten by the child bringing the item.  Something like, “God loves you!”  “We are praying for you!”  “You are part of the family of God!”  Some have even printed pictures of themselves on the notes.

The orphans really enjoy the pictures and the words.  These notes are probably treasured as much as the item that is being given to the child.  The notes can be in English as we will have translators there to read it to them.

STATESIDE SUPPORT:

Strategic Angel Care has need for volunteers to support state-side preparations for mission trips.  Help is needed in the following areas;

1. Arts & Crafts Coordinator
2. Sports & Games Coordinator
3. ESL Coordinator (for summer Mission trips)
4. Publications Coordinator/Producer
5. Video Production Coordinator/Producer

GENERAL MINISTRY NEEDS:

1. Christian CD’s or tapes to give to translators in Russia
2. Nice pens for translator gifts
3. Metal shelves for the SAC warehouse
4. Sterilite 58 qt. storage containers for the warehouse

MINISTRY WISH LIST:

1. “Adobe Photoshop Elements” program to develop photo graphics for SAC.
