Strategic Ways

“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.”   Psalm 67:1-2

In these last few days before our strategic mission begins it is imperative to our mission for you to be continually in prayer asking the Lord to be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine upon us.  During our trip you will encounter situations daily where you will be totally dependent on His guidance, provision and protection.  We must keep our focus on the Lord and His Purpose for out mission.  We should not seek God’s blessings just for our own enjoyment or comfort.  His Ways must be known among people that do not now know Him.  His message of salvation needs to be poured out on the kids at the orphanages and shelters as we bring the Living Word of God to them through our ministry as we touch their lives and give them hope. 

The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:20-21 that if we are to be an instrument that God can use, we must cleanse ourselves and be prepared to do any good work.  God can and will do strategic works when we let Him have complete control of our lives.

The only way to be clean and useful to God is by continual confessing and repenting of our sins.  Take some time today to meditate on the fact that there are whole orphanages and shelters where no one knows the Love of God!  They do not know the peace that comes from a personal relationship with our Lord.  Their fate depends on our spiritual preparation and our relationship with the Lord.  If we are faithful to obey all that He leads us to do then the kids in these orphanages will be different after we leave.  God will replace their hopelessness with joy, peace and love.  These same shelters and orphanages that have kids filled with darkness because of their individual circumstances will now be points of light for God – a living witness to His Grace. 

Prepare yourself today to be used by God to reach these shelters and orphanages!
