Child Trip Participant Guidelines
Children coming on Strategic Angel Care (SAC) Mission Trips are the responsibility of their parents. Parents must escort their children at all times during the mission trip.
Trip Participant children under the age of eleven years old may not go anywhere without an adult trip participant or an adult translator.
Trip Participant children twelve years and older may go throughout the inside of a building in pairs with another child of the same age or older with out an adult. The parent must give permission and know of their whereabouts.
Trip Participant children may not take with them, possess, use, or consume;
Alcohol Silly String (flammable)
Illegal Drugs Laser Pointers
Tobacco Products Fire Crackers/Sparklers
Matches/Lighters Sexually Explicit Materials
Knives Medication (parents must control)
There is to be no fighting, pushing, or shoving by child trip participants.
Theft or damage to property belonging to SAC, CGM, MIR, translators, trip participants, other Russian citizens or facilities will not be tolerated. Parents will be responsible for charges resulting from child trip participants’ damage or loss.
Trip participant children are not allowed to use any phone without the permission of their parents, unless it is an emergency situation. Parents will be responsible for charges resulting from child trip participants’ phone usage.
Trip participant children are not allowed to drink sodas, eat snacks or meals in front of orphans and children in the shelters as a matter of respect and politeness.
Trip participant children will stay close to their parents or hold hands at all times when traveling on the streets, in the metro, and in all other public transportation.
